• A lot has been talked about e-governance infrastructure in
different papers. So, we will come to the second point i.e.,
‘access’. Access is of vital importance. It should be well
spread out to everyone’s reach.
• A broadband connectivity is what is needed to be available
to all the towns and villages, irrespective of size and
reach. The access should be very convenient to use.
Convenience here means in terms of distance and time. The
distance from home to the workplace should not be too long.
Then comes the affordability aspect, i.e., it should be
affordable so that the poorest of the people can also avail
it. Last but not the least, the access should be dependable,
especially in the rural areas of the developing countries. |
